Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) took his sixth consecutive win at the Sachsenring circuit with wins in MotoGP, Moto2 and the 125cc class. Second was team mate Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team)  who saw off a determined challenge from Valentino Rossi  (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) who finished third.

In fourth spot was Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) with Andrea Iannone (Ducati Team)again the best of the Ducatis in fifth and Bradley Smith (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) the top ono-factory rider in sixth.

Moto2

Xavier Simeon (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 Kalex) took his first ever Grand Prix victory after an excellent ride to beat Championship leader Johan Zarco (Ajo Motorsport Kalex) who finished second by under 0.1sec. Third place went to a fortunate Alex Rins (Paginas Amarillas HP 40 Kalex) who was lying in fifth spot until the last corner of the race when third placed Franco Morbidelli ( Italtrans Racing Team Kalex) crashed bringing down Tito Rabat (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS Kalex) who was in fourth spot leaving Rins to cross the finish line in third.

In fourth place was Simone Corsi (Athinà Forward Racing Kalex) with Sam Lowes (Speed Up Racing, Speed Up ) in Fifth and Thomas Luthi (Derendinger Racing Interwetten Kalex) sixth.

Moto3

Danny Kent (Leopard Racing Honda) took his fifth win of the season in a race which he dominated with a pace no other rider could match. Second place went to Kent’s team mate Efren Vasquez (Leopard Racing Honda) with Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing Team Moto3 Honda) third.

Fourth place after coming through the field went to Romano Fenati (SKY Racing Team VR46 KTM) with Niccolo Antonelli (Ongetta-Rivacold Honda) fifth and Jorge Navarro (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Honda) sixth.

Qualifying Results – 11 July 2015

MotoGP

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team)  took his sixth consecutive pole at the Sachsenring circuit with a new qualifying lap record. Second spot went to Marquez’s team mate Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team) with Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) making it an all Spanish front row in third.

Fourth place went to Andrea Iannone (Ducati Team) with Yonny Hernandez (Octo Pramac Racing Ducati) in an excellent fifth ahead of Championship leader Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP)  in sixth.

Moto2

Johann Zarco (Ajo Motorsport Kalex) took his fourth pole of the season beating Xavier Simeon(Federal  Oil Gresini Moto2 Kalex) by just under 0.1 second with Franco Morbidelli (Italtrans Racing Team Kalex) gaining his second ever qualifying podium in third.

Fourth place on the starting grid went to Thomas Luthi(Derendinger Racing Intewetten Kalex) with Simone Corsi (Athiná Forward Racing Kalex)in fifth and reigning Moto2 World Champion, Tito Rabat (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS Racing Team Kalex) in sixth.

Even though he crashed out of the qualifying session with 15 minutes to go Danny Kent (Leopard Racing Honda) still took pole position with a lap time over 0.5 sec. quicker than second placed Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing Team Mot3 Honda) with Karel Hanika (Red Bull KTM Ajo ) completing the front row of the starting grid in third.

Rookie Fabio Quartararo (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Honda) will head the second row of the starting grid in fourth with Efren Vasquez (Leopard Racing Honda) in fifth and Andrea Locatelli (Gresini Racing Team Moto3 Honda) sixth.
